As New Zealand’s authorised partner for HSGM, Ramsay NZ supplies professional German heat-cutting equipment trusted worldwide since 1977. Based in Geisenheim in the Rheingau, HSGM (Heißschneide-Geräte und -Maschinen GmbH) develops and manufactures electrically heated cutters and machines that cut and seal thermoplastic materials in a single pass — preventing fraying on ropes, webbing, belts, tapes, cords, technical fabrics, sailcloth and similar synthetics.

The range covers handheld tools through to fully automatic production machines:

• Handheld heat cutters — including HSG-0, HSG-0-EST (temperature-regulated) and the cordless HSG-0-Accu for mobile work

• Continuous-duty bench and production cutters (HSG-1-VW, HSG-4-VW, HSG-7-VW and others) for heavy ropes, Dyneema, belts and straps

• Automatic rope & belt length-cutting machines with measuring, piece counting and sealed edges

• Longitudinal slitting machines (roll-to-roll) for fabrics and webbing

• Form cutters plus Styrofoam / polystyrene cutting equipment

Direct-heated blades reach working temperature in seconds and can be set typically from 100–700 °C, giving clean, sealed edges on a wide range of synthetic materials.
